I wanted to give Kenwood a try since i have a Mazda Protege and they have used Kenwood in other Protege's, (the MSP). Anyways this headunit is the best i've had. Sounds great and looks great too. I love the knobs. At first i was a little lost, but reading the manual and besides it helped very much. After 5 mins i was enjoying good music. CD quality is impressive. I have my 5.5 ipod and it works fine. Had to get used to the controls at first but when i did, it was all good. If you have a lot of music you do spend a few moments looking, but since i put my ipod random, -from the headunit- i dont spend much time looking.
I've been having an issue now that i have this for a few months and it's that when i plug in the ipod, sometimes the headunit display "reboots" or goes blank. I hope it's not serious.

This unit has all the features a good unit should have and even though I've owned any name brand you can imagine I always go back to kenwood. Great crossover and EQ for doors and subs, definitely reccomended.
