I started out with just one of these, but i blew it up in a week on accident. now i have two in a ported box, 3.2 ft^3 tuned to 33hz (or maybe it's 32 hz :P) running at 2 ohms. with the volume at 20/35, i can't use my mirrors and my head starts to hurt. absolutely amazing quality for bargain prices. alpine all the way.

I recommend these to someone who is looking for good yet cheap bass. They weren't too expensive with great sound production. Yet the problem that I kept having was the tinsel leads would separate and I had to warranty them 4 times. If you purchase them I recommend getting the warranty with them too.

My friend has two of these hooked up to a crunch amp. They hit pretty hard, and the clarity is amazing. a guy i know has 4 type r alpines, and they make his back windshield flex. alpine is the way to go, no doubt.
We purchased a Home Theater System, after talking with customer service and getting additional details on the system. It was nice being able to talk with a representative that was American and who could be understood. Hooray! Good company to deal with and I would give them a 5 star service rating.
