Good power handling and loud. Wish they had more range, but that's generally the sacrifice you make for a smaller sub. I built 2 small boxes that fit behind the seats of my truck. I only have about 12 inches to play with so I needed a sub that didn't require a big box and still could kick. I've put these through the ringer and they still sound pretty good... and for the price they're a good deal

I actually have the previous model - MA80XE - but the specs are the same. They definitely handle the rated power. I have a Power Acoustik 840w amp pushing them and they never distort. Nice tight bass for rock and roll. I have them in a seal enclosure but I imagine they would really thump in a vented box. Great design with the dual voice coils. Make sure you know what you are doing when you hook em up.

This sub rocked!!! I used it on my Maxima's rear deck replacing the old Bose sub. It didn't sound like a 8", it played like a bigger sub. Just don't us a stronger amp then recommended, because it will damaged the sub. I damaged the voice coil when playing it close to 500 watts by accident. Other then that this is a great sub for Price!
