Inexpensive subs that can pack a punch!
I was skeptical about buying subs I could actually afford... but I Boss has been faithful to me thus far so I bit the bullet and when these arrived I was stilly satisfied! I built a sealed box to exact specification. I reinforced the back of the face with poplar - more because i could than anything else - and caulked all the edges. I'm driving it with a Boss CW1100M amp, and it hits hard, has a rather sweet RMS rating, and goes louder than I'd ever want it to. Awesome.

Ok. so I bought only one of these since I'm on a budget, I paired it with the Boss Diablo D1200M amp and wired it at 2Ohms, which means my amp is giving out about 450W RMS. The enclosure I bought only has .58 Cubic Feet of airspace, and my sub needs .70+. Hence comes the first problem, the quality of the sound is overall good, but I bet my money that with a proper enclosure the quality would be excellent. However, it still sounds nice, and for only one 10" sub, it's awesome. Also, the enclosure I got is of course too small, so there were some depth issues, and initially my sound was very distorted, because I used some foam strips to bring my sub higher so it would fit better. I had a TINY hole in the foam, and once that was plugged, the quality was much improved. This sub doesn't hit very low (Still hits low though), but come on, it's a 10", what 10" hits very low? I would totally recommend this to anyone on a budget, but if you can afford it, bump yourself up to a better known brand, namely Kicker or MTX.

I heared these subs at a pawn shop and they sound pretty desent. When I looked at them on Sonic Electronix the set was way cheaper than what the pawn shop had offered. The set of Boss SE102DVC sound great in my dual bandpass(wish i would have got it from SE) box. With the MTX D-Class Amp it beats down the trunk. Thanks Sonic Electronix u just earn another faithful customer. 5 STAR SERVICE

I just got 2 of these from sonic, I just hooked one up in a sealed box, and it pounds. i cant wait to order 2 more and hook up all 4 in my truck! Once again i got the best deal on sonic and buy all my car audio equipment from them. Going any where else is just a waste of your money...
