On my 2006 Honda Ridgeline I have the factory sub. Will I need an additional amp to drive this speaker or will the stereo do this on its own?
Thomas E on Mar 26, 2016
Best Answer: I would venture to bet that if you have a factory subwoofer there is already a factory amp for that sub in the car. When I did the install in my daughters Jeep Wrangler it also had a factory sub and the small factory amp was mounted up underneath the dash near the steering column.

Does this radio come with an auxiliary cable? Don't want to lose siruis
A shopper on Feb 17, 2015
Best Answer: Hello,

All the cables that the headunit arrives with are pictured in the gallery, link below. Of which, does Not include an 'auxiliary cable' of any kind. However, the headunit does have an auxiliary 'input' available, in the form of a 3.5mm Input; It is located in between the headunit's harness input and antenna plug input. (you must provide your own cable, at the length appropriate for your application) .

What if my car already has a microphone built in it will the radio attach to that? Or do i have to use that new one
A shopper on Feb 2, 2015
Best Answer: Hello,

Seldom can the OEM microphone be retained. If it can be, it is often a harness by iDatalink [http://maestro.idatalink.com/] or PAC Audio [http://pac-audio.com/support.aspx] . To be fair, its often more cost effective to just run the new Microphone, if you can get around the aesthetics.

Is this compatible with Samsung note 3?
A shopper on Feb 12, 2016
Best Answer: I haven't got this to work with an iPhone 5 or 6. I also haven't been able to get it to work with my note 5 that I used to have or my galaxy s6 edge plus either. I wouldn't really recommend this unit. I now have an overpriced touch screen radio.

Why does it say this CD-IH202 cable is required For connection when I just bought my radio today and it doesn't mention this cord once? It only says you need a CD-IU52 cord which is Not any different than a standard lightening connector.
tyler f on Jan 20, 2015
Best Answer: All you need is:
- HDMI cable
- the lightning cable charger (from Apple store)
- and the lightning-digital-av-adapter (from Apple store)

Switching Between Modes: Although we mentioned switching between modes is fast on the AppRadio 4, you cannot switch between CarPlay and AppRadio Mode on the fly. Simply because the connections used are different for the two modes. Switching requires changing the cable connection as well as the setting in the smartphone setup menu making it difficult while driving.

you should also buy the Axxess ASWC-1 if you have steering wheel controls.
