Great unit! I installed this screen in my F-150 SuperCrew in about an hour, the install instructions are very easy to understand. I was very impressed with the product overall. It looks very clean, simple and stock which is just what i was looking for. Works great, and is very adaptable, (bluetooth, navigation, sirus radio, etc.) Only thing is it takes a little getting used to the controls; especially while driving but you probably shouldn't be messing with it while driving anyway! Overall though i rate it a 10! Great product!

This deck is perfect. Looks great in my 06 Explorer, have had many complements on how stock it looks. Controls can be a little confusing if you don't take the time to look at the user manual. One minor flaw i have noticed with my deck is that if a song is not playing on my Ipod when i connect it, it will say Reading and will not alow access to the ipod unless you disconnect it and reconnect it with a song playing

I read every review I could on all of the in dash DVD players with screens for a week before making this purchase. I put this in two days ago into a Toyota to replace the factory JL stereo. Man, what a difference! First of all, for those do-it-yourselfers, you'd better have some good experience before attemping to install these new systems. If you've ever had issues with hooking up a big home stereo system, then don't attempt the install. The functions of this system are very complicated, and for the first time, had to sit down and read the user manual, cover to cover to understand all of its features. Not Kenwoods fault - it just has tons of things to adjust with it! Be prepared - If you pay $550-$600 for the deck, you'll also be shelling out the other $4-500 for all accessories that can be hooked up! I bought the Sirius brain and adaptor, the Scorshe brain (which allows unit to work with JL factory speaker system), backup camera, Scorche trim plate for dash, and seperate over head monitor. Wife was not happy by the time I was done! I would suggest, if you have volume controls on your steering wheel, buy the PAC to control, since the volume buttons on this unit are very small, and while driving are hard to feel. The features, once you figure them out are great, fully customizable to your liking. Sound was excellent, DVD picture was great, Sirius controls are ok, USB controls are good, touch screen works well, but don't have a Ipod, so haven't tried that part. Two warnings: 1) make sure you can drive well, without watching the road with this unit - or pull over! Many times I've wanted to change something, but you have to look at the unit to see what to change which takes your eyes off the road, quite a bit! 2)If you intall all of the additional accessories, make sure you have plenty of room behind your double din dash, since the wires and all of these little boxes take up a bit of room back there! Be careful driving with these new units, and rock out!

This is probably the best multi media unit in this price range. I have also purchased the Pioneer Avic Z2, Avic D3, and the Clarion multi media unit. Pioneer Navigation is better (a bit more money too) but the fact that this Kenwood is the only one that will play video from my ipod classic makes it a home run. Kenwood also makes it very easy to bypass the parking brake video feature by just grounding the parking brake wire. Pioneers are more complicated (but can be done). If you have the money, buy the pioneer nav, but if you are looking to save a couple dollars, buy the Kenwood before the Clarion or JVC units.
Remote-Mount Navigation for Kenwood Multimedia Head Units • Works with nearly all 2006-up Kenwood in-dash multimedia units and CarPortal systems • trip computer • SD card slot
Plug and Play Charging Adapter for iPhone 3G • Charging Adapter For Select iPod Nano, iPod Touch, and iPhone 3G • Specifically Designed to Fix the Charging Error
Best prices AND free shipping. free Installation kit had everything necessary with good instructions too. This will be my first stop for all future electronic purchases.
