I am limited on the amount of space I have to lose. For the size and amount of space I have this should be perfect.

Good day,

I am planning to add sub woofer (Infinity bass link) to improved sound quality on my Bmw z3 roadaster. I already replaced my speakers with stage I upgrade.

Can I do this connection directly from the after maket HU to the sub woofer with out passing the stock amplifier?. Is their any installation instruction/Kit included when I will buy this sub woofer
jose c on Oct 8, 2014
Best Answer: Hello Jose,

Your OEM amplifier will have absolutely No relationship with installing the BASSLINK. IF your headunit has an available Preout, then that is all you will need from the headunit. Infinity does send literature with the BASSLINK, but being such a simple/traditional install it may be a bit vague. Below is a link to the instruction book. You will simply need no more than an 8 Gauge Amp Wiring Kit, like the Monster Cable MPC P200 BAP200, which will account for your RCA, Power/Ground, and Remote.

WIll this fit under seat in crew cab 04 F350?
robert p on Oct 20, 2014
Best Answer: Hello Robert,

We do not have the dimensions for the area under the seat of a '04 Ford F350. Like all things car audio, you must measure the space yourself, and compare it to the dimensions of the BASSLINK.

14-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H x 15-3/16"D (horizontal mount) .

does this work well in the trunk of a car?
leonidas on Nov 24, 2014
Best Answer: Depends in what you are looking for. If you are trying to vibrate windows while you drive down the street, no this would not be good in the trunk of a car. If you are looking to add to the sound quality of your stereo system then yes, this will definitely do it. The seats will deaden the sound quality and overall loudness however the bass transmission will pass theu and give you a little bump inside heightening the quality of your listening experience. If your into high quality sound this is a great unit for the money, if you want to have the heavy bass everyone else hears while you dive down the street this is not the unit for you.

Best Answer: If you can get 10 inches behind your seat you would be able to bolt the basslink to the cab wall

If you don't have RCA jacks to plug into the input how do you do the input wires how do you install input wires if you don't have RCA RCA jacks?

You can purchase that, but the infinity bass link comes with the instructions and wiring harness to do the same thing. You basically tap the wires to your factory speaker wires it works just like RCA cables

I spliced into my 2011 wrangler soundbar speakers with the purple and green wires. It has power run to it and the red power light is on. its grounded. Im not getting any sound though. Do I need to install a remote on wire? I thought I heard the basslink will power itself from being connected to the speakers so I wouldnt need the remote on?
RyanP on Jan 25, 2015
Best Answer: As long as the wire run to it is 12 volt you should be fine, however, you do need 12v to the remote as well. You can put a jumper from the power to the remote to make it work however, if the power in the light bar you you tapped into is on all the time the amp will be on all the time. The light bar wires and circuit/fuse is probably not sufficient to run the Basslink safely for long periods of time as the wires may melt or blow the fuse. I would run a seperate heavier power wire.

bought this unit for my old 2005 f150, I had an aftermarket sterio. I just bought a 2014 fi50 and I'm stuck with the factory deck because its so integrated. How do I hook this infinity up? it has high level inputs and RCAs where would I find a remote turn on lead?
gully on Sep 9, 2015
Best Answer: You just splice the speaker leaves wires to the rear speaker wires and the unit uses those for audio transmission as well as remote turn on/off.
