Toyota want about $800 for XM connectivity. This unit works perfectly and allows me to use an existing Sirius head unit. No new subscription required! Highly recommended.

I was looking for a way to control my portable Sirius radio through my Sirius ready head unit but still keep the portability of my Sirius radio. The SC-VDOC1 allowed me to do just that. It's easy to dock and un-dock my Sirius radio as well as small enough to conceal the installation and keep my radio secure. The kit comes with all of the necessary wires to connect it to my head unit adapter including a low profile magnetic antenna.

I was looking for a more permanent install option for my portable Sirius radio and found that this was the best option. Similar to their home model it was small enough to mount in my glove box allowing me to visually secure the radio.
There was more than enough wire for the unit as well as the antenna to mount it in pretty much any location and looking at other options was available at a good price. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a compact affordable dock when using your Sirius radio in more than one location.
