I've had many installs behind my back and that isnt the half of it lets just say ive worked in an audio shop for 2 years now these subs are great for the price i got 4 in a yukon on a db drive 2500.1. Subs bang nothingg compared to an re audio sex but great value. Cant take very much power though, if you do some math subs are perfect not for somebody whos blown subs this size before and i dont really like the orange foam surround it looks cheap.

Very impressed so far! I have had them for about a week and love them so far. Build quality seems better than most subs in this price range. Thick rubber surrounds and a stiff cone make for a less efficient sub, but they look like they should take a pounding. Don't pay attention to the 200w RMS, I would try to get an amp that will push about 300w RMS. I have them hooked to the FLI monoblock amp I bought here, that is pushing 600w RMS at 2 ohms to the two subs. I have them in a sealed enclosure, just slightly less than the 0.7 cu. ft. recommended and they hit deep and tight. Being controlled by a Kenwood deck with sub outputs. Everything is very clean and accurate. I listen almost exclusively to rock, so I need everything fast and tight and these do that extremely well in a sealed box. They are not quite as loud as I had expected, but the only experience I have to draw from is my days as a teenager when I thought it was cool to let my whole neighborhood know I was coming with my ported boxes and gain cranked to max. But I am sure that if I had these in a ported box with bass, gain, and subwoofer volume all cranked it would be louder than I need them to be. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, especially at the sale price (they are cheaper than the HED line, which is Cerwin Vega's lower end model). PS. The Red surrounds and black cone look very good in a black carpet box.

I have two of these hooked up to my home stereo and they sound like six hundred rms JL's. For the price you cant beat it. I love sonic wish i had heard of them sooner, so far i have bought sveral products from them and all exceded in performance. I recomend these subs to everyone and Cerwin Vega has been around a long long time.

This is an awesome sub, it sounds good, but sometimes it sounds a little hollow, I wish they didnt use the material they did for the woofer cone. Make sure you have enough power to drive this thing and it will be loud for you.
