Stupid question, is this price for each? or per pair?
A shopper on Sep 17, 2014
Best Answer: Hello,

Not a stupid question; the last line in the Description that says "Priced Per Pair" is often overlooked. Priced Per Pair, by the way.

thinking of replacing stock speakers on 2014 Tacoma with these in the front and GTO628 in the rear door.....I realized I will need adapters, how will this combination work running off factory head unit...not looking for really loud, but good quality sound?
mike h on Jul 14, 2015
Best Answer: Your sound will improve; however, you need a need a new head unit too for some really improved sound. I put these in the back of my 2001 Town Car and noticed a little difference. Since a factory radio does not have that much continual output power, I would recommend a JVC or a Kenwood unit. The rms power on these units is 22 watts with about 45 watts max. I replaced mine with a JVC and the difference is outstanding. I don't even need an amp or sub. The sound is great.

I am looking for a good pair of 6x9s for the front doors of my Grand Caravan. I already own the amp and it's a RF P400-2 which pushes and underrated 100w at 4 ohms and 200w at 2 ohms. I was also looking at the newer model but the price of this one is far more accessible. Will this be a good match?

Best Answer: I think it would be a good match, I'm pushing around 90 watts to mine and they bump pretty good, also very clear, I will advise hitting the switch on the speaker to make the highs a little less piercing before you install them. They do hit lows pretty well so make sure they are very secure and well installed to get the full effect. But overall yes I think you'll be sending them enough power and they are a great speaker

Adding these GTO 938 to built Harley system using Rockford Fosgate PBR300.2 amp, 2 channel ,2ohm stable and Polk MM651 speakers. Trying to figure out how to wire 2 speakers per channel. 4 speakers total 2 per channel For 2 ohm amp? These speakers have only 2 connections on speaker, and the Polk has a 4 connection with a box then 2 connection to speaker input. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks John

Best Answer: Unfortunately your setup cannot be completed as you wish. Wiring two 2ohm speakers - like the GTO938 - will present a 1ohm load or a 4ohm load, which is fine, but your Polk Audio MM651 offer a completely different load, at 2.7ohms. Wiring the Polk Audio MM651s together will present a load Far different than that of the GTO speakers, this will stress the amplifier.

We suggest a separate 2-Channel amplifier for the second set of speakers.

1 Review of this product says they fit great in a Toyota but needed adapter plates. Does anyone know where I can get the plates? I have a 07 Camry with JBL stereo and no navigation. Thanks!
Paul D on Feb 16, 2015
Best Answer: I don't have a toyota but if you run these on a amp the tweeters will cut out when you turn the volume up. I have two of these and two 10s on the JBL 3 channel amp. It sounds good but like I said the tweeters will cut out when you crank it.

What's a good amp for these?
A shopper on Nov 18, 2014
Best Answer: Hello,

The matching amp is the JBL GTO-804EZ. However, the RE Audio ZTX-800.4 , SKAR Audio LP-80.4AB , and NVX JAD800.4 will Also make for a FANTASTIC match up.
