The Scosche BTHPK can serve one or two purposes and they do them both amazingly. The main use of the BTHPK is with an iPod or other MP3 player. Included in the package is a Bluetooth receiver that plugs into any 3.5mm standard headphone jack. Once it is plugged into the headphone jack of your MP3 player it transmits the sound through the popular Bluetooth technology. Using the Bluetooth technology allows for crystal clear sound and no wires getting your way at the gym, on your bike, or while you're walking.
In addition to the primary use of listening to your jams through a wireless connection, you can also connect a Bluetooth enabled cell phone to the BTHPK.
