This valor 301-d is a great head unit. gives great sound. ipod control is a lot better than any other head unit i have seen. it is like using an ipod on the deck. the only dowmside is that everytime you turn back on your car or switch back to the ipod control, it resets itself. that does not bother me too much though. the screen is a bit bright but i got used to it. the dvd player works great. even though it is a small screen it does a suberb job. watching a movie in my car with my subwoofers is like movie theater status. and the bluetooth works VERY well. i talk at regular voice, i dont raise my voice, and my friends and family hear me perfectly. this really is a great head unit for the price.

for the price it is a great buy, plays dvds, links to my ipod and if you have the right format you can download music videos to a sd memory card and watch those too, the only downside to this is that the display is very very very BRIGHT and has a level to dim it but it does NOT work. i use the tilt function to point it up and direct it somewhat away from me, ohh and the bluetooth works very well! dont loose the remote , as it has a lot of functions that you cannot access thru the unit itself.
