I bought these about six months ago and they are great. I am running them off my pioneer deck, no amp, and they are pretty clear. My friend with Amplified Rockford Fosgate components cant believe how clear mine sound. I plan to amplify them some day, but no rush, they do a great job of balancing out my system, with 2 12 inch pioneers in the back.

I have these in my car and I am very impressed with how good they sound. I run them straight off my deck, no factory or aftermarket amp, so they are seeing about 20 watts. I have the deck tuned so that pretty much no bass comes from the speakers, but I have cranked the bass a little with my subs off and these little suckers sound pretty damn good. Someday I plan on putting a pair in the rear of my car as well and then amplifying all of them.
I feel cheesy giving them all 5 stars but honestly, they deserve it.
