I'd recommend getting a little 2-channel 250-500 watt amp to power these to actually feel their potential

Sounds very clear and definitely worth purchasing. Had to cut into the rear shelving but looks great once the cover/grill is installed

I bought these and the corresponding 6 1/2s for my 98 civic. They were a huge upgrade from what was already in the car. The first thing I noticed was the sound quality, it was amazing. I could hear highs in parts of songs that I never knew where there. However, when it comes to bass they are severely lacking. If you are looking for pounding speakers without a sub sitting in your trunk, then these are not for you.
