This is a very good device I use it everyday I hook up my iPhone to it and it works fine. The only reason I gave the durability a 4 is because the dock connector that goes into the iPhone, the casing broke off but that could be because of lots of use too. Very diffrent set up of how to use but once you play around with it you get used to it.

I can't say much about the sound output because I have stock speakers, but it's at least as good as the standard ford unit in my truck.
I've been using this radio for about 6 months now. The best part is the giant knob, which makes using the radio and changing tracks on the ipod really easy. The display is also very good.
I've been using it with an ipod touch so your experience may vary, but I find that occasionally the ipod will need to be restarted. The music will occasionally cut out for a fraction of a second.
Also, keep in mind that there are different settings for scanning for radio stations. The default is local, which tunes to only two stations (in New York City). Make sure you change it otherwise you will not get many stations when scanning.
