Wire Material
The material that the wire is made of. Copper & aluminum are the most commonly used materials. OFC - Oxygen Free Copper is the ideal choice for wire material. The power transfer is not on par with OFC, but this material offers significant savings.

This is Perfect Feeding Two Antenna Signals into One Unit

January 23, 2013

I bought this in combination with a Metra windshield mounted antenna so I could utilize the crappy antenna Honda installs in the Ridgelines in unison. The result is a very strong radio signal which I was never able to get before, and the two antennas don’t fight with each other.

this item turned out to be a good idea. the stock antenna is in the back window, I added a second antenna in the front fender, now I don't have to inch-up at a light to get a signal !

Just as advertised

June 7, 2013

Used this to feed both antenna leads to my head unit in a 2006 4Runner. Also had to use a Metra 40-GM10 to adapt the non standard small lead to standard Motorola. Improved reception slightly vs using one lead only. I originally ordered this exact same part somewhere else and they sent me the female to two male twice and then relized they don't even carry this part. Thank you Sonic for having competent people who know what they're doing.

I have a 2004 Toyota Sienne that I put an after market radio in an the factory radio has 2 antenna jacks and cables feeding it, I can't get reception with the one antenna that does plug in will this Metra 40-uv43 work or is ther another way to convert the dual antenna signal to a signal?

Best Answer: Hi Scott,
Yes! It should work. You can connect 2 antenna male cable and then connect the cable to the radio antenna port. I did that to my radio because radio stations are too weak in my radio so, I bought an indoor antenna and this cable to connect both antennas and to be honest the improve wasn't that great! Just a little of improvement! So the cable connects 2 antenna to one but it may not improve the reception of the radio! At least in my experience!
Hope works for you!
