This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install either a 2” tall (Single-DIN) or a 4” tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement simple and comes with a pocket that is installed below the 2” radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. The pocket is not needed when installing a 4” tall radio. The dash kit is painted scratch-resistant matte black to match the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn’t offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.

PERFECT FIT
Well, nothing to say, This kit includes everything and it was a perfect fit all around the edges. It's clean, no extra space, even and fits well with the rest of the car. I had this for 1.5 years now. I know you may not belive me but i am giving this product 5/5. I own a Lexus IS300.

Good Product
Decent fit, lots of good parts to use different headunits. I personally had to grind down mine for proper fitment in a 2004 Lexus IS300, but no issues for the price.

Surprisingly good look.
This part was used to install a satellite radio/CD player that was not the same as the factory installed radio/CD player. Initial installation was not done correctly resulting it getting loose. Once installed correctly, the unit looked better than I expected.

Possibly the worst dash kit imaginable.
This has to be THE worst dash kit ever produced for a car. My application was a single din Pioneer and let me tell you about how a 30 min radio install turned into almost a full day. First of all, the pocket that mounts to the bottom portion of it is JUNK. They designed it so terribly that the screws will fall out and strip the "half hole" they go into. You have to pretty much super glue the pocket on to the front piece to make it stay put. This tiny portion of it caused at least 4 hours of fighting. Then after I finally got everything mounted I had to be oh so careful like I was doing brain surgery so that it wouldn't grenade after 6 tries. After that I finally got everything in. It sits kind of crooked if you really pay attention but other than that it looks ok. But overall, I would NOT recommend this for a single din application. If I were going double din, I would have probably given this kit 5 stars.

Sturdy, well constructed
Although I would have liked to have utilized the metal brackets that held the original radio together, the ABS plastic has held up just fine without issue. I installed a double din head unit in my 2004 IS 300 and was very pleased with the look and ease of installation. The only thing I had to modify was the faceplate because it comes with a separator you have to cut out and in my case grind down flush because all I had to cut with were a pair of tin snips and some wire cutters.
