I have a 1 farad cap and that wasn't quite enough for my 2500 watt system (the lights were still dimming) so I got another bigger one (8 farad hybrid). And now there's less dimming but the first cap I have says low power all the time. so I took that one out thinking it was defective but it wasn't I think it was some kind of connection issue. bc using a voltage meter and a spare car battery it showed the correct voltage with the meter. i think there may be a coating that you have to sand off before installing. and i could bend each peace with my bare hands so its not a good idea to mount one power cap and let the other hang just buy these bridges. bc they will bend. especially if you have a big power cap.
