PowerBass ASA-400.1

well, this is a good amp for the money. i had it for almost a year and it started cutting out and i was too lazy to take it in and replace it with a new one. BIG MISTAKE!!! about 2 months out of warranty it completely died and i had to buy a new one. so if you have this and it starts acting up TAKE IT BACK and get a new one!!

This PowerBass amp is a good product to buy. Its cheap and works very well, I have had is for about 4 months now and I have had no problems with it. Im powering an single Directed 10 running at 2ohm and the amp has never overheated on even after two hours at high volumes. Overall its a great amp and really for the price.

I had this in my previous car running a powerbass S12D. And let me tell you it hit hard.these powerbass amps are very good.they play loud and clean.My new car I am running all cerwin vega speakers 6.5 components in front,6x9 in rear,and a single 10" sub in back with the ASA-700.5 amp from powerbass.and man does it rock!loud and clean(and i had noise interference issues with fosgate amps,what does this tell you?).although i wish sonic would get the powerbass 5 channel amps in for the money they are impossible to beat.I am very curious though if their amps sound this good what about their speakers?Yes I know they are very cheap in price but you just got to wonder?I mean if their amps are this good at this price? are we just wasting money on other brands speaker prices just for a brand name?
