I purchased for the price about 3 weeks ago, not needing anything too fancy, i just wanted some bass to hold me over. After I realized that they needed a lot more space than the box i had i built a ported 2cu.ft box for it. i hooked it up to a very old and under powered crunch amp (8 yrs old - 120 watts RMS) this thing shakes my trunk to the point I had to turn it down so it doesn't sound like my car is falling apart!!!. i was amazed by the sound I got with this speaker being so under powered!!!! i am extremely pleased to say the least and have recommended it to all my friends. They sound as good as the pair of HX2 fosgates I have.

I had Kicker cvr's and cvt's before I got these. I got these for my wifes car but I liked them better than the kickers so I got more. 2 for me and 2 for her. In my opinion these have superior sound quality over the kickers and they get very loud and low as well. I'd never owned or heard Clif Designs before now but I am very happy. The only thing I dont like is that they require a very larg box if you port them but that is the only way to go with these. In a sealed box they are nothing special but ported at the right specs.......WOW. I've built a custom 3.2ft3 shared airspace L-ported box tuned at 30hz(1.6ft3/sub is the minimum for ported). I am feeding them 400rms each @ 2ohms. As much as I like these subs there purpose is to get me by untill I get RE Audio's. Unreal sub for the price and make sure you port'em.

I purchased this sub and have beaten the mess out of it. The sub holds up very well and is of a higher quality standard than other commercial brands. I recommend this sub for anyone. I think that this product is wonderful.

I've got 2 of these in a sealed box 2 cubic feet & running a crossfire bmf 600d, 700rms @ 1 ohm & I tell you they are loud. I used to run 2 Rockford P2's with same amp & I split the dust caps on them. These hold up nice and sound very clean. The Rockfords have slightly higher SPL output but these have better SQ than the Rockfords & have. The only issue I have with these is the motor cover which can resonate in the box but easily removed prior to install with hex key which exposes the magnet for better cooling In my opinion. I like these subs a lot. They sound quite nice & for the price, make the Rockfords seem embarrassing.

I just recently purchased this woofer never having heard of the company. I have to say that it is a very good woofer with great sound quality. I hooked it up in my wifes truck and it was much louder than here 12" Rockford Fosgate. Definitely worth it if space is an option.
