Installation was very quick and easy, i have been using it for 8 months now with no problems. It gets good radio reception, quickly loads music cd's and dvd's. Loading a SD card does take some time to load and if you don't push the face plate completely closed the color in the screen doesn't work. I have not yet used the USB port, AC port or the video input. This is a very satifying product.

I looked for a long time before I decided on this head unit. It was either this or a Pioneer. I'm glad I chose this one.
The pros: excellent quality sound. This unit made my 50 watt rms Blaupunkt 6 1/2's sound good, at least, better than the factory radio did. This would be a great addition to a low end OEM system. I like being able to convert all my music videos to XviD and burn them to a DVD that will actually play in my car. It fit very well in my '91 Honda Prelude Si; except that it was a little longer depth-wise than I realized, and was very snug in that sense. I've tested my 16gb SDHC card up 11gb or 1400 songs, and it can read them.
The cons: the radio functions, normal dvd functions, and normal cd listening functions are simple enough to use; however, Navigating a dvd full of XviD files or an SD card with multiple folders is a bit frustrating. You'll have to press left or right, folder by folder, to get where your going. When playing MP3 or WMA, the words in titles don't scroll like you would think, and it only shows about the first 10 letters of what it's displaying. It can show album art, though I haven't found a way to display it with the music. The low wattage means you'll probably need amplification if you've got speakers that can handle more than 50 watts.
All in all, I still think I got about the best, most functional, quality stereo I could have got for this price range. Don't let the list of cons throw you, you would be hard pressed to find another unit with these features, let alone for them to be more user friendly. Especially for the price

it not only plays DVDs but it also plays your Ipod using the radio controls while charging it. and don't forget about the SD card port I love it. I mean you can download videos and watch them in your car.the only thing missing for this product is the Bluetooth ,but hey for the price i think it is a really good deal. so yes you can say that I really recommend this product.

It did mount in my Honda Passport (97') with a little extra filing of the case mount in the dash. It looks good and plays good, the dvd is cool. and with one click on the old emergency brake I can view the screen. I had it installed at C** T*** in Tigard, Oregon. They said it normally would not have been allowed to be installed in my vehicle but I coaxed them into giving it a shot, and it fits like a glove, literally perfect. Thanks for the sale and knowledge of its specs when I bought it.

Some of you are probably dieing for a review on this receiver. Well I gave it a 8 out of 10 so far. I just got it in yesterday and installed it today on my wife’s car. I wanted the DVD player aspect of it because you can put 1200 or so mp3’s and put them on a DVD and play them back on a DVD compatible player like this one, which is very nice for the price of $200 or less, on average these multimedia receivers with a major name brand sell for in between $300 and $550 with this size screen, if you can get one with a decent middle of the row name brand like Jenson for $200 or less with the same features and work basically the same, that’s value!!
When I received it I hooked it up to a portable jump start battery and played around with it to make sure everything was up to par, in which I was a little disappointed with the files and folder accessibility when putting a DVD filled with mp3s, it was not very user friendly on how to easily retrieve these folders and files easily, there is no common since way with out reading the manual to get a good idea how one is going to go to song listings, let’s say for instance you want to go to album 27 song number 8 then you want go to album 145 song number 19, not really easy with out having to press the buttons on the face plate maybe fifty odd times or so to get to this point, after some practice it didn’t bother me later.
I think Jenson should have concentrated on this aspect a little bit more, after all when you have a thousand or so songs on a disc, it should be easily retrieved with out much input is what I say, I have to say the remote accesses files and folder faster than on the face plate, which I think it should be the same way on the face plate, I don’t really like using the remote. Any how other than that The DVD player for playing movies back played really nice no problems, FM tuner seamed to be quite nice, by the way this will play all formats, I tried DVD - + R & RW, CD – R, and some other formats, played every thing supper, and load time are pretty fast on everything. So far for having it one day only I would recommend this model. I will post a review down the road in about a month to see how it’s holding up and to further more to see if any bugs pop up that may discourage some body for buying this new model.

I love the head unit. The only disadvantage I see is the 2V preamps, but I have them hooked to infiniti amps and infinity speakers and sub. Unit sounds awesome, picture quality is great. It's a little hard to navigate through lots of songs, but I have a 4 gig data stick that I plug into the usb(therein the navigation issue). IPOD control is just like your using the ipod itself. I have no complaints, worth every penny.
