You can't get a more accurate and reliable GPS than this type of system. It not only uses GPS but also in areas where a GPS signal is weak the speed sensor in combination with a gyro senses any change in direction you make. Its the same that commercial airplanes use to navigate in the air. I originally saw this on C*****f**** for almost 3x the amount on here now they don't even offer it. If you have the appropriate clarion receiver this is a must for without it your not taking advantage of its full potential. The only thing that this lacks is that it doesn't give you your current speed on the display nor does it give you the posted speed limit. I find this helpful because half the time I miss those signs and it seems like you won't find the next one until its too late. Also I'm not too sure on whether or not if clarion is going to continue to support this particular system in the future by giving owners updates on the maps so this could turn out to be a problem.

Works great. Fast to lock in on satellites. No problems with it and the VX709 head unit.
Only improvement I would like to see would be to see your current speed in Nav mode. GPS tends to be more accurate than automobile speed odometers.
