I have a 95 jetta, so i bought 2 sets for my front and rear doors. i have a 6" and a 1" tweeter in each door..... with a 4 channel 1600 watt amp running to each crossover. sounds amazing and I say buy them. IF you have a GOOD aftermarket deck. crossovers are tight to fit anywhere but best if installed near speakers.

I purchased this product based on the reviews from multiple websites saying that they are great, long lasting products, and sound amazing. I do admit that they do sound amazing, but they didn't last very long for me. Yes, i do admit, i love my music loud, but i have never had something that was supposedly able to withstand a high amount of power, blow only 4 months after installation. I have installed hundreds of stereo's in my past, and have never heard of something going out this fast. Maybe i got a bad batch, but it wasn't just my front speakers that went out. One of my PA amps went out as well only 3 months after installation. Be very careful if you purchase from this manufacturer.

I bought these with the emphasis on low cost, and was surprised at the quality and performance. Obviously they aren't going to compare to a 200$ set from other brands, but for a cheap set of 6.5" components, they delivered.
The mid-bass response is likely this sets greatest asset. The 6.5" driver was one of the best I've heard for bass output in this size, but it rolled off the high frequencies too quickly, leaving a gap before the small tweeter took over.
The tweeter was smaller than I'd expected but surprisingly clear and crisp without being overwhelming. Like mentioned earlier, there was a gap in frequency response around the crossover point, which may be an attribute of the small size.
Overall I couldn't find much to complain about. The set handled all the power I could throw at it nicely. It was loud in volume without distorting and sound quality was on par with most mid-range components.
I found myself going back and forth between these and my other vehicle with 6.5" JBL components to hear the difference, and I'd be hard pressed to choose one over the other. I highly recommended these if price is a major concern.
