This amp is very good and i would recommend it. It can stand someone crossing the terminals by accident (I didn't pay enough attention and put the power and ground wires in the wrong terminals). I used 4 gauge wire and they handled them very well, but i wish there was a better way of wiring the wires into the amp besides just twisting the wires in a open slot.

I gotta say that this amp is pretty awesome. It powers both my subs nicely. It lacks in a few features that I would personally like but overall a great amp. I would recommend it to anyone looking foe good power at a good price.

This is an excellent amp had it for 6months now, hits hard i have it powering two audiobahn 550w 12" subs runs day and night hasn't overheated once. Not to mention you don't have to have a 3 foot amp that you can cook eggs on.

I have this hooked up to a single orion hcca 10.4 sub and it hits harder than any other system i've heard and that includes multiple sub set up. this is a great amp doesn't heat up and i love the gain control for the front seat. Ten minutes after the install of this amp i got the cops called on me. lucky me the officer that came couldn't have been nicer about.

This amp is definitely the way to go!! i have it powering my 12" alpine type x and it bumps! i need another one though because the type x can take a lot..I HIGHLY recommend this amp to anyone with a bigger sub like mine..no problems at all, never gets hot and I've had it for about 6 months..its seriously a good buy, especially with a QUALITY brand name like MTX!
