MTX Audio has designed their JackHammer series of amplifiers to not only be able to deliver constant power but also stay cool with their integrated Active Fan Cooling technology. This helps the MTX JH805 Amplifier put out impressive power ratings without getting hot and shutting down. The harder the amp is being driven, the harder the fan will work to make sure each component doesn't heat too much with it's active cooling.

This had to be the worst amp ever. I bought my amp 6 months ago in ny, but only installed it last week. After playing this amp for five minutes it blew up. When I phone the company I was informed that it was out of warranty. The funny thing was that they was unwilling to even post the parts to me because i lived in trinidad. I was informed by the manufacturer to ship this product back to ny and then pay 85us to have it repaired. I just decided to source the parts locally and repair it. I am totally disappointed with mtx because i have a phoenix gold 5 channel more than 4 years now and no problems.

I have 5 channel amps before this one is nice and not big it can fit almost anywhere. It looks great and has good power to run a subwoofer off of it. If you are looking for crisp clear sound buy this amp.
