Bass Slammer unloaded, vehicle-specific enclosures are inspired by the same technology incorporated in MTX ThunderForm enclosures. Bass Slammer enclosures are available for many of the hottest-selling vehicles on the market and are made of a high-density polyethylene resin to ensure that you don’t get any of the “ping” common in fiberglass enclosures. The resin is color-matched to the interior color options available for each vehicle.
Bass Slammer enclosures are tough as nails. They are made using rotational molding. Unlike injection molding, Bass Slammer enclosures come out of the mold with no seams, so you don’t lose any of the sonic quality of the subwoofer.
Bass Slammer enclosures are also internally braced to eliminate flexing and warping so you get the tight bass you’re looking for.

I had an MTX 10" something or other ( entry level mtx ) sub in here with about 100 watts RMS going to it. It sounded great as far as low to medium volume sound quality is concerned. There was a definite, and severe drop in SQ once you reached a point in the loudness of the music. But it fit nicely. Even with my 1998 factory aluminum wheels in there, everything was snug and fit like a well-designed part should. would recommend this product to a friend only if they absolutely hated the idea of a traditional MDF box taking up space in their cargo area.
