Bought this product a while ago to update the system in my car. I've always knew JL Audio made good quality products at decent prices. I have no complaints about the speakers although I have been buying JL products since '96. Overall am happy with the purchase I've made.

I am running two sets of these components in my FJ Cruiser off of an Alphasonik 4 channel amplifier. The sound quality is AWESOME. I am very pleased with these components, and will not hesitate to buy them again for my current Mercedes Benz project. They are worth the money.

Replaced another set of aftermarket speakers with fantastic results... Powered by my Pioneer headunit, these speakers have excellent clarity and response... crisp highs, mids, and nice punchy lows and great bass response without distorting... no need for an external amp... the crossovers are excellent as well and make a clear difference by diverting frequencies not meant to be reproduced by midrange speakers... The only drawback besides the price tag, are the speaker grates which frequently fall out due to the installation design, and eventually I had to glue them in place... Overall, a good purchase.

I have these running off the head unit and they sound great. i would recommend powering them with an amp however. They get good highs and mids and just sound good.
