The Garmin Nuvi 780 navigator has it all with advanced navigation features, a widescreen display, preloaded maps, an FM Transmitter and hands-free calling. This unit even comes with real-time local weather, traffic, movie times, stock information, gas prices and local events. The 700-series from Garmin has premium navigation capabilities such as route planning and an emergency locater, giving you peace of mind while on the road. The Nuvi 780 has an easy-to-read 4.3" display to view map detail, driving directions, photos and more.

The Nuvi780 features next-generation content using MSN Direct. Using the free trial service, you can check the weather, avoid traffic backup, compare local gas prices, stock information, etc. This navigation unit is especially useful because you can plan trips on your computer and send them wirelessly to the unit.

The Nuvi 780 is ready to go right from the box with preloaded City Navigator NT street maps and millions of POIs such as hotels, restaurants, fuel stations, ATMS, and more. This unit accepts customizable points-of-interest. For example, school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. The touchscreen is simple when it comes to entering in a destination and taking you there using 2-D or 3-D Maps and turn by turn voice directions. This unique navigation system will also announce the name of exits and streets so you will never have to take your eyes off the road again.

The Garmin Nuvi 780 integrates the Bluetooth wireless technology with a built-in microphone and speaker for hands-free calling. Just pair up your phone and enjoy the freedom of calling while driving. Points-of-Interest (POI) Type: Search for Points-of-Interst by there category. These include restaurants, ATMS, banks, hotels, recreation, hospitals, shopping, and more!

Quick Search: Allows the user to search for specified POI's that are commonly used.

Recent (Previous) Searches: This feature will load the users recent searches for fast navigation back to them.

Route: This allows the user to select a route that has been previously established.
