The all-new technology platform features advanced Viper technology that has received Best of Innovations Awards. Each system comes with one 2-Way LC3 SST remote that has the transmitting range up to one mile. The system also utilizes priority icons, which are simple and clear to read. The Viper 5501’s Priority User Interface enables the five buttons on the remote to control 24 functions on each of two vehicles. The most important icons are placed in the middle of the large LCD screen and they are three times larger than the less used icons, which are positioned around the edge of the LCD screen. There are many advanced remote start features as well. The active temperature check allows the temperature inside the vehicles cabin to be displayed. This allows you to check the temperature inside your vehicle before getting inside. If the temperature isn’t what you want, then you can extend the remote start runtime from the remote. The 2-way paging remotes communicate via visual displays, as well as audible tones and vibration.
