Highly recommend this stereo. Installed easily, sounds great, picture is great, don't have a single complaint. Sonic was easy to order from and we got exactly what we ordered, on time.

On the plus side, this unit has a lot of features... iPod connection, HD Radio, SD and USB playback, and lots of inputs and outputs. It works OK, and the sound is good, but the interface is clumsy and the overall display isn't that attractive. Some things are a lot more difficult than they need to be. If you have media with songs separated into folders, you need to first press a small area on the touchscreen to change the mode of the buttons, and then press equally small DIR - and DIR + buttons to change folders. Listening to HD radio stations (the HD-2 and HD-3 channels that carry additional programming) is even more awkward and really requires a lot of work on the touchscreen.
Although the display is large (nearly the full size of the Double DIN unit) the resolution is low and only the first part of track and artist names are visible. The unit can be very slow to respond at times and even locks up on occasion.
There are also some more serious problems. The bluetooth integration works OK for voice, but doesn't properly sync phone book data to the device. It's advertised as supporting this - but it fails and just puts up nonsense names for contacts.
Also annoying (very annoying, really) is that the unit forgets the radio presets every now and then. This makes the extra HD stations just about useless, since after all the work of programming them into the presets they just disappear.
For the money, it does a lot of stuff, but it doesn't really do anything well.

Ok I just got the Jenson VM9423 for my 2000 Nissan Maxima. Bolted right up and the install was very easy. Had the stock radio out and the new one in, in about 2 hours total. Its a very nice radio but has a few issues. Radio reception is horrible. Doesn't pick up stations well. When I do go into town the HD is awesome! I have a flash drive and a sony MP3 player and neither one works right with the usb. The USB is too slow. It connects and disconnects the sony not allowing it to play and the flash drive takes for ever to listen to a song or change a song (it normally freezes the system) The IPOD works well and is fast. It doesn't show the album cover or anything. It does navigate well with the Ipod though. CDs are clear and they don't skip when hitting big bumps and the DVD is super clear but cant seem to get the sub titles to go away no matter what I do. The sound is very clean and the 7 band EQ is nice to get it sounding the way you want.
Over all the unit is nice but has a few issues. Wish the radio reception was better and I could use my sony as I like it better than my wifes Ipod. Oh well for the money I cant really complain. I am planing on getting the navigation system for it. I will let you know how it goes whan I get it.

Needed a unit that could play movies, support extra screens, interface with my ipod, hands free bluetooth, and outputs for my amps and extra speakers. This unit is very well equipped with features and functions. I haven't experienced any problems with the unit. Comes with its own fuse already for protection. Also the unit has input for a video feed for a backup camera which i plan on using. Over all i am very satisfied. To think i was about to pay double for a kenwood or jvc unit that has the same features. I am so glad i didnt. Oh yeah it also has a pin so that in case someone breaks in and steals your unit it will not work for them unless they know the pin.

This unit is a very good product and I have had no problems with it at all! For the price this thing is the bang for your buck. The only thing I don't like about it is when you're using the ipod you have to push the pause button on the unit before you turn the car off. If you don't then the ipod continues to play and uses all of its battery life and then you have to go through and find where you left off. Other than that everything is great! Even the video from youtube through an iphone looks great!
