W6v2 H.O. Wedge
Based on the design of the W7 High Output systems, the W6v2 "H.O.’s" are designed to perform at serious output levels while retaining exceptional sound quality. The W6v2’s also have the benefit of smaller enclosure requirements making these some of the smallest of all the H.O. (High-Output) enclosures out there.
Each is properly sized and tuned to the optimum ported alignment for the 12W6v2 or 10W6v2 and is shipped wired, loaded and ready to install. Both the 10" and the 12" models use our patented, chamber-coupled port design. The slot-port wraps around the inner enclosure and terminates just above the woofer. This provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W6v2’s. The recessed mounting baffle also provides protection for the woofer. These High Output subwoofer enclosures are the ideal bass solution!

i was happy with the overall sound quality and sturdy construction of the enclosure. the sub's cone-surround is well built and firm. i disassembled the enclosure to check for flaws and did not find any, although one of the terminals was slightly loose (only very slightly so would not have been a problem)
as most people already know, the 12w6 is quite power hungry and my meager little amp was not enough to give the sub what it truly craved. even so, the sub sounded good for the power that it received.
i do feel obliged to mention that although i was very pleased, i prefer the sound of the homemade enclosures built using the specs on JL's website. the HO is a very close second though.
as for sonic, their processing and shipping up here to Canada was very fast. the box that the enclosure came in was damaged quite badly but the product inside was in good condition due to its large, solid nature. i have ordered other products from sonic and this was the only time the packaging was ever damaged. Sonic's prices will beat any price you could find in Canada and i plan on buying more stuff from them in the near future.

Put one of these in my '04 Yukon with a JL Audio 500/1 v2 amp. AMAZING sound volume and quality. This combo will outperform most two sub setups and the quality compared to the foreign made equipment is noticeable. If you want quality to listen to your style of music as well as the ability to rattle your neighbor's windows this is the one.
Using the factory head unit and door speakers (bose system)
