I have only used these mics once since I received, used at a Christmas gig as a DJ. It was at an American Legion venue with a full bar in the back, and a large seating area. I did not take it out in the crowd but the sound/clarity was fine with no feedback. It cid not ship with 9 volt batteries, I purchased 2 rechargeable batteries at Batteries Plus. One for each mic. They took a full day to charge. I am pleased with my order thru Sonic Electronix, shipped quickly and ordering process was smooth via phone. I also purchased a 3 yr warranty thru square plus
