  • iPod USB direct connectivity via your standard iPod-to-USB connection cable allows you to charge, control, and playback your iPod through the receiver and stereo system.
    • New 2-way control capability allows your iPod playback features (play/pause/browse/etc) to be controlled via your car stereo controls or the iPod itself. Previous stereos only allowed control through the stereo when the iPod was connected.*

  • iPod/iPhone Ready: USB-to-iPod cable will work with most iPods. The JVC KS-PD100 iPod adapter is required for a limited number of older iPods, please view the JVC compatibility list to see if your iPod will require the KS-PD100.
  • Front-panel auxiliary input: 3.5mm (headphone jack) allows connection to portable media devices such as MP3 players, etc.
  • Front-panel auxiliary input: USB Port allows connection to portable media devices such as MP3 players, etc.
  • Rear auxiliary input: RCA Audio Input
  • Compatible with a portable hard drive
  • CD Changer controls (compatible with the JVC CH-X1500 CD/MP3 changer)
  • Steering Wheel Control Ready: PAC SWI-JACKv1 required and sold separately
*iPod 2-way Control Capabilities: All iPods, including the iPhones and iPod Touch, will allow 2-way control mode when connected via USB-to-iPod cable, except for the following iPods:
  • 1G iPod Nano: Does not function properly in iPod mode when using 2-Way iPod control. There is no problem in head-unit mode.
  • 5G iPod: Does not function properly in iPod mode when using 2-Way iPod control. There is no problem in head-unit mode.
  • iPod Nano 2G: In order for the iPod to function properly, the iPod software must be updated. Version 1.1.3 and up should function properly.
  • Any iPod connected through the KS-PD100 will not allow 2-way controls and can only be controlled through the stereo once connected.

Any iPods/iPhones released after February 3, 2009 have not been tested by the manufacturer and/or Sonic Electronix for compatibility. Therefore we do not guarantee compatibility in regards to, but not limited to: playback, video, charging, and response time.
