I've gotten 2 of these cables now because the iPod end of the cable the plastic peace kept on splitting and breaking off even with moderate to light use. So the second time I wrapped it with electrical tape to hold it together even after it split and it still works fine. Would definitely recommend a diff cable especially if you use it a lot.

Product does not work with iPhone, however it comes in handy for my kids iPod while sitting on the couch. Able to have continuous play without recharging due to its length.

If you want your iPhone to work properly with your Kenwood you MUST have the cable called out in the manual.

Needed to connect iPod to KOS-A300. The original cable would have worked, but I wanted black so it could blend into my interior a little better. Sonics great price didn't hurt either.

I bought my kenwood about six months ago and love it. The graphics are wonderful. It's so easy to use. The GPS is great, I rarely have trouble with it.
The touch screen is a bit sensitive so that took getting used to. Other than that, I can't think of any other cons.
Truly a great system.
