I installed one in the driver kickplate of a 2008 mastercraft ski boat. I powered it up with the very flexible Clarion amp that has crossovers and an extra pair of channels for additional dash speakers. The result - HOLY COW ! The bass is so solid and tight I could not believe it. No break up. Punchy. Listenable. Easy. I was so surprised that in an open-air environment I could get such a pleasing result.
