This is a good sub. I have it in my 09 versa sedan, which is a sub compact car. It makes good bass, nobody can hear you coming, but it does its job very good considering its size. I am using it off of my factory headunit, so I am sure once that is replaced it will sound better. But for now, like I said, for an 8", its really not that bad. But for about $20-30 more, invest into something a little bigger, my suggestion.

It sounds amazing for what it is. I'm really blown away that it can produce so much bass from such a small package. The bass is very tight, clean, and not sloppy at all. It is obviously not earth shattering bass but it is only an 8" sub in a tiny enclosure. That being said it is very impressive how much bass they managed to get out of this. It is more of a sound quality sub than a loud sub. My components get very low and sound great but when I turn off sub now it is amazing how much low end I was missing. Nearly every comment I have seen about this subwoofer has talked about the break-in period so it will get better as well.
I have a 2010 Subaru Forester and it fits under the passenger seat. I'm powering it with 2 channels bridged on a 4 channel amp. The amp is rated 320 watts RMS bridged and I turned down the gain to 200 watts RMS. It seems like it wants more power but i will wait until it is broke in.
