Before this i had a Kenwood 900 RMS amp and it hit really hard but always shut off. Then i got this Brutus 1200 watt and it never got hot and never turned off on me, but it didn't send as much power as my Kenwood did, maybe cuz it was overrated in power unlike Kenwood's CEA compliance. Overall it did make my CVRs hit pretty hard. Nice product for the cheap price.

Got it pushing (2) P3 RF 12" subs. Lots of clean power. After the break-in period they hit plenty hard. I would spend a little extra again and get a Hifonics amp over some of the cheaper amps.

I have it hooked up to a 12" Alpine type R and it pushes it with ease, very loud. My only problem is that at this point I may have a wiring issue, because now when hooked up to the amp, the sub almost seems like it's clipping. I don't know if it's the amp or wiring. Still a good amp for the price.
