Incredible LCD Touchscreen Monitor
JVC’s KW-NX7000BT is an In-Dash Double DIN 7” Touchscreen TFT-LCD Monitor with CD/MP3/DVD/DivX Multimedia playback support. Built-in Bluetooth technology supports hands-free calling, audio streaming, voice recognition dialing, text message display and much more. Built-In GPS Navigation features 12 million points of interest, Navteq map database covering USA (including Hawaii and Alaska), Canada, US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, Voice and text-to-speech guidance in 10 different languages, 2D/3D map perspective navigation and much more. This JVC Head Unit is equipped with a Proximity Sensor, this allows menu and on-screen control buttons to hide when your hand is not near the LCD touchscreen. MP3 ID3 Tag Display will illustrate the Title, Artist, and Album when playing an MP3 device. NTSC Color System, 480 x 234 pixel resolution and blue button lighting provide an easy-to-read menu display. The built-in HS-IVi Tuner with 18 FM presets and 6 AM presets, 7-band iEQ user adjustable equalizer, and DTS, Dolby Digital surround sound capability all enhance sound quality.
Expandability options are boundless when it comes to this incredible player. First, Sirius or XM Satellite radio can be added on using the optional adapters, this allows access too many different radio stations such as Martha Stewart and Howard Stern with a clear, crisp broadcast. The front panel SD Card input allows connection to portable media storage devices that may contain your favorite pictures, music, or video files. Rear USB port allows you to have full control with the latest iPods and iPhones, giving you even more playback options. HD Radio provides you with a digital radio signal for a high-definition, high-quality radio signal that is almost as perfect as CD music. CD changer controls and full compatibility with your steering wheel controls are some other convenient options that make the KW-NX7000BT a must have.

I've had this unit for roughly 8 months now. After considerable research this was the only unit that offered everything I needed. I didn't want to drop so much money on a device that didn't play all the digital video files i have; this unit does it all.
Pros:
Plays .avi video files from USB (many others will not) (major issue for me). Other units will play divx files from DVD, but not from USB. I'm a digital guy, don't want to mess with DVDs if I don't have to. The disc is dead in my world.
I only use SD card for MP3s, reads all the cover art, etc just fine
Nav: unbelievable accuracy - my garmin is no where near as accurate as this thing. It's so good, I'm buying one for my wife's car.
Detachable face: my truck is parked at airports a lot, love that i can hide the faceplate.
Remote works like a champ, but the holder has already given out on me.
Run the parking brake wire to ground, play video and nav while driving. Did this for the wife on long trips, I of course do not watch movies while driving.
Sirius: the components are pricey, but since I travel all over the country the SIRIUS is a must and it works just fine
Cons:
No dual zone controls. In my truck it doesn't matter, in my wife's SUV with a kids DVD, it would be nice to have dual zone. It does have a video out, but the front seats are tied to anything playing to the backseat. If the nav on this unit wasn't so good, I would probably buy a different unit for the wife's car - but she loves the nav and we can work around the dual zone issue.
Bluetooth: I think this is an imperfect science all around. I've never had anything bluetooth that was worth the money. This one works, connects to the phone just fine; can play audio from the phone's SD card, etc. But the voice quality on the other end is just bad. I haven't tried relocating the mic, but I don't have high expectations. I probably would not buy the bluetooth module again.
I don't have the ipod cord, but everything i read in my research said the ipod connectivity was very slow and cumbersome. I'm not an ipod guy, so I didn't care. From what i've read, if you're an ipod person, this one probably isn't for you.

This unit has definitely blown my expectations out of the water. Received the unit in record time considering I reside in NJ. (5 business days). I have only had the unit installed for about a week now and all the features are fantastic. The Navigation is seamless to use and all the options available to you are incredible. The sound and picture quality for this unit is great and I really love the blue tooth module (Definitely a must have). All in all, I am pleased with this purchase, money well spent.

I've only had this unit installed for about a week but so far it is great. Everything seems to work flawlessly. Nice internal amp and also 5 volt preamps for a great audio experience. The navi is pretty sweet and easy to use. The video quality is nice and u cant beat the fact that it has dual SD slots, one for navi and the other for your pleasure. Only flaw I have noticed is that with the bluetooth its hard for ppl to hear u, but will try mounting in a different location. Also if u have the old Sirius, SIR1-JVC1, it will also work with this unit
