This is a great sub. Sounds great looks great too. I have mine in a dual box that i change from bandpass to vented. Hits hard gets the job done. One downside is the voice coil does get a lil warm or maybe its the box i got it in. I plan to buy 3 more.

I owned 2x12 spl sp3 which is a higher model than sp2 and that also rated to 2,600watts almost 2x as the rated power of the sp2 1000+ watts rms as they said. But i'm sorry that is not near the truth... Sound wise is an okay rated 3 star for me so as the value and the looks... It pumps all right and has deep enough bass too... But lots of other brand which are rated below 600watts rms that sound and can pump better than this... Second of all the materials are light weight, plastic cover from the magnet that they make the magnet looks huge but weight will tell you the honest truth . It sounds okay like everydody say's on the first 3 comments but i cannot put 5 star on it... Because of its cheat wanna be good looking design... But hey that's maybe works for you... Sorry 3 stars in my opinion is the right ratings for this sub-woofer not a 5-star...

I bought this sub with a 1400 watt crunch amp, and I built a ported box, I hooked it up with with 2 channels, brideged for 700 watts and, i havent ever had it to its max, and this sub is still hitting so hard, it shakes my whole truck, this is a really good sub for its price.
