Great unit,
Pros:
DVD playback very nice, you can see clear even on sunny day, screen size is big enough to see from rear seats (I have Honda pilot)
Sirius radio great sound.
Touch screen Menu: very intuitive
USB play back, just like regular mp3 player, I am using an 8 gig flash drive works great.
Cons:
Radio reception is very static, may be because my Pilot has antenna build in to rear window.
Overall: If you purchasing this radio to watch DVD, and listen to XM, Sirius, or IPod.
I would highly recommend it.

I have owned this for a little over a week
If you are thinking of purchasing a great head unit, save yourself the trouble and just buy this one. I looked, researched and compared head units and for the price this does it all... I went into local retail stores and specialty stores ($499.99 was the best price i got not installed or any other mounting/interface stuff either that was all extra) It's got room to expand if needed...so if you are on a tight budget (like me) you can always add later...that's what I am doing a little at a time..I purchased the head unit and will wait to get the bluetooth, XM, and rear camera later when I have the funds or they make great birthday/fathers day/holiday gifts..
Ok for the real review...I love this thing...The screen is nice and big. The touch screen is sensitive so you don't have to slam it hard..Once you get used to navigating the menu's it's pretty easy to get around. The A/V audio input in the front should be on the right side of the radio not the left..get's in my way...It is a bit bright at night but I can live with it. I like the knob volume control..Love the USB input..got a 4gb loaded it with music and away we go....overall this is a great unit the sound is great, you can even play a DVD with the volume in the rear speakers and listen to the radio in the front so that is awesome...especially with kids...(easily bypass the video lock by grounding the wire to frame and the video plays all time)...
Good luck choosing but don't waist too much time because I did all the research and you won't be disappointed with all the features, besides Sonic keeps selling out of them and for a good reason...it's a great unit...
I installed it myself on my 08 Chevy Equinox and it took about 2 hrs. I also had to install a GMOS-LAN-01 for my GM vehicle to keep the Onstar and door chimes...
Good luck and write a good review cause it deserves it...

This head unit is really nice to look at and has some great features. I purchased this with the XM and Bluetooth modules. Everything works great until you try to make a call while listening to the music through an iPhone plugged into the Kenwood iPhone cable. The music should stop allowing a conversation to occur. Instead, the music mutes momentarily and then starts playing directly through the phone making it impossible to have a conversation. This is not revealed in any review I've seen on this product. I called Kenwood today and spoke with "Tim". Tim's response was that they were aware of the issue, it wasn't Kenwood's problem and that I should call Apple. Had I known this was an issue and that Kenwood's customer support was so awful, I never would have purchased this unit. As long as you have a phone other than an iPhone, it works as advertised.
Not my first time purchasing car audio equipment on the web but i have to say your web site is easy to navigate with lots of information, great price and excellent delivery service. I would definitely buy from you again and recommend SonicElectronix.com to others. Keep up the good work
