S.N. Only had them for 5 hours... First impressions are that the headphones sound great. I listen to rap and r&b and for u bass heads these aren't gonna impress u. Very nice bass however. Go get some more expensive earbuds for that (beats). Very good value. Everything sounds crisp and no muffle on the loudest volume. I hope these last cause it'll feel like a steal at this price...

These IEMs have excellent, clean sound with deep bass, strong midrange, and bright upper range. The ability for them to block out surrounding noise is very good as well. I guess the wood actually helps, since no other earbuds I've tried sound this good.
However, the cord attachment points are a bit flimsy on these and all other Woodees I have seen. The little protective accordion sleeve is very short and too flexible to actually support the cord. I have seen similar problems on other brands of headphones and electronic devices, however, so I'm not too worried, especially at this price.
Speaking of price, the earbuds are far cheaper than the sound they produce. This makes these earbuds far superior to other comparably-priced items, in terms of sound quality. And if I break them, I can easily get a new pair without hurting myself too much.

Good sound for an inexpensive product. Reinforced cord/plug junction is still a weak point.

I have not gone through many headphones so I don't have a lot to back up what I have to say but these things are amazing! They have an impressive amount of bass for ear buds. I did have a pair of bose headphones awhile back and I'm more impressed with these. I won these but they are certainly well worth the price that sonic is offering them for!

These headphones truly deliver amazing sound. I was a bit skeptical about the "wood" design, but they sound really nice and fit great.
I was fortunate enough to get a pre-production pair since I work for Sonic Electronix, and these things are putting dust on my Scosche, Sony and Sennheiser earbuds.
The bass is deep, and pure sounding and not so dirty sounding like some others that just deliver "loud" instead of clean, smooth sounds. The other thing worth mentioning is the tips come in a variety of sizes that basically let these babies act as noise canceling as they literally plug into your ears comfortably and cut out exterior noise w/ ease.
Another cool feature is that when I go workout at the gym I can easily skip the song on my iPod Nano by simply tapping the mic/controller 2 times so I can always hear the right song when I am lifting. I have yet to try the microphone with the iPhone, but when I do I will try to write another review.
I know I received my set for free as a demo, but I think at this price they give other headphones that are much more expensive a punch in the pants... there is only one kind of Woodee worth putting in your ear...and these are it for sure. I have paid $120 for a set of earbud headphones from Sennheiser and these beat them hands down.
I think the only complaint I have is that while at my desk I wish I could get a longer-cord version of them, as I hate using a non-Woodee extension cord, but I am sure that will come eventually and I am just ecstatic overall so I do not mind the standard 4 ft. length.
