I have use this even on my motorcycle gas tank and it worked great! Anyone with a v- twin will tell you how much noise comes threw the gas tank. I added this to the under side of my tank and it made a world of difference. It also works good inside your hot rod doors to make them feel and sound better when you are driving down the road as well as when you close them. The best part for me was how easy it was to install and work with, with out cutting up your hands.

Great product, stickier than a lollipop in the august sun. Pre-planning is recommended for the novice. Compared to other products and prices, you get great sq footage for the money. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quiet rattle free ride. Also good for not cooking your feet with a duel exhaust running under the floor boards.

I found the product very easy to work with (trim to size, shape/contour, install). It does an excellent job of both sound dampening and temperature inulation. I used it on the entire interior space of my vehicle (roof, floor, doors, firewall, behind rear seat, etc.). You wouldn't want it to be any thicker as it would make the reinstall of the door panels etc. more difficult. This and similar products on the market (unfortunately) are fairly pricey. However, I have always believed that "you get what you pay for". If you want a quality product, you have to pay for it. I will do my other car with this product as well.

Very flexible, but I found it to be too thin.
