I have this unit in my 08 ford f-150 I am pleased with it the only issue I have is that if you turn the internal dsp off you loose all ability to adjust sound (high, mid and lows). For me it isn't a big problem I have a separate eq which takes up that short coming but overall I am pleased with all other aspects of this unit

This head unit is an excellent purchase, real bang for the buck. It is loaded with great features, example the DSP which give you so much control over how music sounds. The USB and IPOD controls are excellent and are very easy to navigate. The only issue I have with this unit is, the quality of the display, could have been more crisp and the text should have greater contrast from the background. The unit takes some time to get used to, you WILL need to read the manual to figure out how to use some of the features.
Overall it is an excellent purchase...

This radio sounds great with aftermarket speakers! So many ways to adjust the sound. It does take a little getting used to the controls though. Like I still haven't figured out how to set favorite radio stations... but with ipod control either with the ipod or through the radio itself, the ability to add USB, and the rear Aux input (which is where I added my portable XM radio) who wants to listen to local radio stations and all their commercials?! The radio itself added so much more sound to my speakers, from the original factory radio, I am still in awe :)
