The Absolute IPOD-KEN-USB/V iPod connection cable gives you high-speed access to the music and video for your Video iPod through your compatible 2007-up Kenwood in-dash DVD head unit. One end of the cable plugs into your iPod while the other end includes a USB cable, a 3.5mm miniplug audio cable, and a 3.5mm miniplug video cable, all of which connect to your Kenwood inputs.
The USB cable handles the control and charging of your iPod and it allows you to navigate through your music files with the Kenwood's controls. It also passes song info to the display of the Kenwood receiver as well as other playback details. The miniplug connectors transfer the music and video from your iPod to the Kenwood receiver's audio and video inputs. A great feature with the Absolute IPOD-KEN-USB/V is that music and videos travel to your stereo as analog signals, which allows you to also play the Digital Rights-protected files you have stored on your iPod through your Kenwood stereo.
Note: Your 2007-up Kenwood DVD receiver must have a USB input, an auxiliary input, and a miniplug video input in order to work with this cable.

I would not recommend this to any one due to it would not work 90% of the time. I would have to keep unplugging it to get it to register my I pod. Then the feedback was s***** you could here ever time you changed a song the driver in the I pod would go thru the speakers. very cheep product. I did have to by the name brand kenwood I pod plug and it sounds better and it has worked every time also I put in a 4foot usb male to male and its works great I spent 45 dollars instead of 30 so that's what happens when you go cheep:)

I like the product except for one thing, i have a kenwood DDX 7019, and when i have it hooked up it does not keep the ipod charged.....I would have thought that it would charge the IPOD while plugged into the Head unit...................the product works as it should but a little disappointed about that one thing....
