A full system dedicated to conversation and music in car
The MKi system is a unique range of Bluetooth hands-free car kits that will install into every type of vehicle. It combines the latest communication technologies with a full set of services dedicated to music. Once paired with your Bluetooth mobile phone, the MKi enables you to have any phone conversations in your vehicle without needing to handle the telephone. You can even leave the phone in your pocket. Connection with your cell phone is made in a completely transparent way. The user-independent voice recognition and voice synthesis are now integrated in the MKi car kit, which dramatically eases the way of using them. All the connectors for any type of music are provided with each MKi hands-free kit, including the iPod, iPhone, iTouch, USB keys, USB MP3 players, Bluetooth Stereo devices, CD players, MiniDisc, and more!
Play your music in the car
The MKi9200 is delivered with a music cable specifically designed to adapt to any sort of digital and analog music player. This includes an iPod/ iPhone connector, a USB connector to plug any USB MP3 player and a Line-In input for analogue sources. MKi will also connect to any Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP) source, such as a MP3 player, musicphone, smartphones, PDAs, etc. All music files are played back on the car’s speakers (front and back) while the MKi built-in digital amplifier transforms your car into a true concert hall!
Your voice takes control
The MKi automatically synchronize the names and phone numbers in your mobile with their phonebooks and update theirs phonebooks each time a new entry is detected. To access your phonebook and make a call, simply press the green button to start the user-independent voice recognition: the MKi recognize your voice and the name you are saying without any prior teaching process. You can also directly access the phonebook and browse all the names thanks to the voice synthesis (Text To Speech). Parrot has really made this simple. To follow on your conversation in a discrete mode, switch instantaneously the communication
towards your Bluetooth headset or your mobile phone.
Wide compatibility and perfect integration
The MKi series offer the widest compatibility with existing and future Bluetooth mobile phones, thanks to its full compatibility with the Bluetooth wireless communication protocol. The software of the MKi is upgradeable for free at any time from the parrot web site. And to benefit a higher integration in the vehicle, MKi can be interfaced with an optional module, the Parrot MULTICAN. This uses the existing steering wheel mounted commands to control your Parrot Bluetooth hands-free car kit. There is no additional visible part to install, it only uses the existing car’s steering wheel control buttons. You keep controlling the car radio from the steering wheel and if the steering wheel doesn’t have enough buttons, the Parrot MULTICAN uses a specific combination of buttons to compensate for the missing ones. At least a fully invisible Bluetooth hands free solution!

This thing rocks as both a hands free cell phone and wireless streaming audio device. Sounds great with my factory Infinity sound system. Don't really listen to radio or CDs anymore!

Had the Parrot MKi9200 added to my wife's 2006 Scion xA since she has been doing way too much dangerous texting/talking & driving. We considered replacing the head unit but with the xA's, the double DIN is located very high on the dashboard and putting a shiny new head unit will be too attractive to thieves.
Hence, we went this route - Car Toys had the small detachable monitor installed low on the dashboard, visible via the steering wheel and we placed the small remote down by the parking brake so that it can't be seen from the outside. The microphone is installed up high where the liner meets the windshield up by the rear view mirror.
As far as performance, the unit is amazing. The xA has a very high level of road noise when driving at highway speeds and when you're talking in the car, the volume level can be raised significantly with the sound coming through your speakers and it sounds crystal clear. With my wife using it in the car and talks to me on either my cell or home phone, I don't hear the road noise either. The noise cancellation feature on the dual mic works flawlessly.
In addition, we've been able to stream music from both our LG Rumor Touch phones and we've added a USB thumb drive to it and now have our library of music at our command. All in all, a very slick unit.

Fair audio quality no matter where the mic is positioned. Can't compete with the better Bluetooth headpieces.
Fairly buggy with iPhone. For example, we have to plug in our phones and then unplug and replug to get the audio to work.
The amplifier should be stronger. Oh highways it's barely enough.
This is the best of the worst. In otherwords, there aren't any other better integrated options but this is only average at best.
If you plan to use it for business calls then save yourself the money. Buy a planteronics voyager pro. Better noise cancelation and audio.

I used the install harness from C*********** and it made the installation a breeze! The Parrot worked for the most part as advertised. It would be nice to be able to get text messages! The only issue I have had from time to time, is if I get in the car with my phones Bluetooth off, after starting the car and trying to connect the phone, it will not connect. I have to turn the phones bluetooth on, and turn the car (power) off to get the Parrot to reset and connect. Other than that it's flawless!
