Compatibility:
- 2001-07 Radios with GPS Navigation systems must purchase a CAS-VOLNAV cable
- Volvo external 6-disc Changer must be disconnected and will no longer function
- 6-CD Changer built-into Radio remains fully functional
- Display of artist and song title information, track search by artist, song title, album or genre are NOT supported, you will see playlist and track #‘s only
- Compatible with iPod™ Mini, Photo, Video (5G), U2, Mini, Nano (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G), Classic, iPhone, iPhone (3G), iTouch (1G, 2G)
- Not compatible with 10GB /15GB iPods, nor iPod shuffle
- The new iPod Classic, Video Nano, Touch and iPhone are not supported in Hybrid mode but are compatible in Direct Mode
- Not compatible with the Volvo XC-90
- Volvo SC-*** (i.e SC-816) Model radios are not compatible. Purchase the PA11-HON iPod Adapter instead
- Volvo RTI/GPS Navigation Radios require a CAS-VOL_NAV cable
- Text Navigation radios (HU-1205) do not require this cable
Note: 2004-1/2 S40 with fiber optic sys is not compatible.
