Seems like it works sometimes. But I have already got one speeding ticket with this in my truck. The cop even wrote radar detector on the ticket. But it has worked at least one other time, but this scrambler is not to be trusted.

Great relialability! On flat ground I have about 1.5 mile detection giving me the opportunity to slow down before their radar sees me.

I have used RMR units for over 10 years now. I avg. roughly 50k mi./yr. I have had almost every brand of detector,at some time or another, and have stuck with these. The last ticket I got was with a Passport over 10 years ago. Thats when a friend turned me to the Rocky Mountain Radar. I've been a firm believer since. The only issue I've had with these units is the speaker goes out in a little over a year. However, if you are handy with tools, 5 minutes and about 5 bucks can fix it with a stop off at your local RS.

I have only had c475 for a short time but it seems to work well with all the new lazar photo cameras here. I also got it at a fair price as other top brands are much more money.

I've owned Rocky Mountain Radars for years and recently ordered 2 of the RMR-C475. There are some nice improvements to this version with 3 suction cups on the window mount versus the 2 on previous models. This model seems to have better filters to avoid false signals. There is only one time in all the years I've had a Rocky Mountain Radars that I've gotten a ticket and that was because I turned off the volume. They are a great product. I've had no problem with this model so far, but in the past models the speaker has gone out after 2 years. Will have to wait and see if that problem has been addressed on this model.
