Never has getting high-end sound in your car been easier. The Infinity Reference 4032cf car speakers are the perfect solution to aftermarket speakers. With the 2 ohm voice coil, these speakers are ideal for running directly off of a headunit or for use with a aftermarket amplifier. Infinity engineers have combined the Plus One+ cone with the high roll rubber surround to help retain the integrity of the sound. True Four Ohm Technology
The engineers are Infinity have developed a speaker that works for all applications. The True Four Ohm Technology used in these speakers make it perfect for running directly of a headunit or with an aftermarket headunit and amplifier. All of the speakers in the Infinity Reference line feature a 2 ohm voice coil. However, when you factor in the small OEM speaker wire of most vehicles and the heating in the voice coil during use, the impedance actually seen by the amplifier will increase. Infinity has adjusted the speaker to be safely connected to any headunit.
Sonic Electronix, one of the leaders in car audio, recently visited Harman, the premium global audio and infotainment group, at their research and development locations in Northridge, California and Detroit, Michigan. Put these in my Geo Metro on the dash. Got really good highs, bass is really good for a four inch speaker. Compared it to the old pioneer that was in there and it was bigger in every way to compare. Be careful for fitment because they are big. Also have 4x6 plates in back powered by mid level alpine radio and 6x9 in custom box I made with amp pushing for my bass. Also like how tweeter is now a switch instead of button a big plus in the new design.
