Reference Quality Sound from Infinity

Never has getting high-end sound in your car been easier. The Infinity Reference 6032cf car speakers are the perfect solution to aftermarket speakers. With the 2 ohm voice coil, these speakers are ideal for running directly off of a headunit or for use with a aftermarket amplifier. Infinity engineers have combined the Plus One+ cone with the high roll rubber surround to help retain the integrity of the sound. The edge driven, textile dome tweeter also features a tweeter attenuation switch that will adjust from 0 to +3 dB. Get more from your audio system with the Infinity Reference 6032cf.

True Four Ohm Technology

The engineers are Infinity have developed a speaker that works for all applications. The True Four Ohm Technology used in these speakers make it perfect for running directly of a headunit or with an aftermarket headunit and amplifier. All of the speakers in the Infinity Reference line feature a 2 ohm voice coil. However, when you factor in the small OEM speaker wire of most vehicles and the heating in the voice coil during use, the impedance actually seen by the amplifier will increase. Infinity has adjusted the speaker to be safely connected to any headunit.

The Sound of quality

Sonic Electronix, one of the leaders in car audio, recently visited Harman, the premium global audio and infotainment group, at their research and development locations in Northridge, California and Detroit, Michigan. The purpose of these visits was to utilize and combine the powerful brand of Harman and the industry leading knowledge behind Sonic Electronix to begin working together on developing future car audio projects.

Speaker Specifications

Series
This is the manufacturer product line of speakers.
Reference (Infinity)
Priced Per
Car Speakers are typically sold in pairs so you will receive 2 speakers for each speaker purchase on speakers marked "Priced Per Pair". If a speaker is marked "Priced Per Each" then the speaker is sold individually and each purchase you make will result in 1 speaker. High-powered tweeters, midrange and full-range pro audio for car speakers are typically sold per each speaker.
Pair
Speaker Size
Refers to the size of the speaker measured in inches. Every vehicle has standard application sizes. Please use our vehicle fitment guide for your vehicle's specific speaker sizes if you do not know them.
6-1/2"
Design
The number of individual drivers in a car speaker. Speakers with 2 drivers are known as a 2-way, and 3 drivers are known as a 3-way. Component systems are often referred to as "separates" because the tweeter is not attached to the midwoofer (main speaker driver) and mounts separately in a location such as a door post. Component systems typically come with an external crossover so you can easily adjust the high and low frequencies sent to both the midwoofer and the tweeter. Center channel speakers are great for those looking to have surround sound in their vehicle.
2-way
Tweeter Design
Designs such as cone, dome, semi-dome, balanced dome, and whizzer are most popular. Cone tweeters are simple, efficient and typically are the most reasonably priced. Dome tweeters are used in most home speakers, and provide a smoother and more accurate sound. Semi-dome design is one with a dome placed inside a cone. A Balanced dome driver is a semi-dome with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome portions of the driver. A whizzer tweeter is a separate tweeter cone driven by the voice coil of the woofer.
Dome
Tweeter Composition
Materials such as polypropylene, silk, cloth, and paper are the most common, where as many more recent tweeters are now manufactured with composites such as Aluminum, Titanium, Mylar, and other materials.

PEI is an acronym for "Polyetherimide" which is an amorphous, amber transparent, high-performance thermoplastic.

Textile
Woofer Composition
Lightweight woofer cone materials are essential for efficient operation. Poly cones produce exceptional sound and are sturdy against various changes in temperature. Paper cones are very efficient, and when treated for moisture resistance, will perform at a high level. Poly refers to polypropylene, which is thermoplastic or fibers that are polymers of propylene. IMPP refers to injection molded polypropylene, a commonly used process and material in speakers.
Injection Molded Polypropylene (IMPP)
Woofer Surround
A speakers surround is part of the suspension system. The surround protects the cone and prevents it from being displaced as it flexes out from the basket. It is usually made of a durable material like treated foam or rubber in order to withstand the strenuous job of producing bass frequencies.
Rubber
Peak Power Handling
Peak power handling refers to the amount of power a speaker can handle during a brief musical burst. The RMS power range figure is a much more reliable rating for determining the speaker's power requirements. The Peak power handling specification is typically rated per speaker unless otherwise noted.
180 watts
RMS Power Handling
The RMS power is the amount of power the speaker requires to operate safely and properly. RMS Power Handling refers to the amount of power a speaker can handle on a continuous basis. We recommend powering your speakers or subwoofer with 80%-120% of its recommended RMS rating. The RMS power handling specification is typically rated per speaker unless otherwise noted.
60 watts
Sensitivity
An efficiency or sensitivity rating tells you how effectively a speaker converts power into sound. The higher the number, the more efficient the speaker and the louder it will play with the same input power. An efficient speaker helps you maximize your available power. Most sensitivity ratings measure the speaker's output with 1 watt of input, 1 meter from the speaker. Some speakers' sensitivity is measured with 2.83 volts of input, instead of 1 watt.

Efficiency (1w/1m) is not an accurate indicator of a subwoofer's output capability and should not be used as a comparison to other speakers or subwoofers to determine which one is "louder".
93 dB
Frequency Response
The range of frequencies the speaker will reproduce (lowest frequency to the highest). Bigger is better, meaning the wider the range, the better. The optimal range is 20 - 20,000 Hz (which is the range of human hearing).
53 - 21,000 Hz
Impedance (Per Voice Coil)
The load value (in ohms) that the speakers present to the amplifier per voice coil - the amount of resistance to the current flow. This is a key specification as subs wired in parallel or low impedances can create problems with your amplifier and potentially void all warranties. We encourage you to ask our support department prior to purchase if you do not understand which impedance level will suit your application best.
2 ohms
Top-Mount Depth
The depth when installed on top of the mounting surface. Measured from the bottom of the speaker's magnet to the bottom of the mounting holes on the rim of the speaker.
2-1/16"
Speaker Grilles
A grating or screen of metal or plastic bars or wires, mounted in front of a speaker as protection. If yes, the speakers will include matching speaker grilles. If no, there are no grilles included.

The clarity of these speakers is incredible. Decent punch, but if you want thump, that's what subs are for. At 100 watt peak per speaker, these handle whatever you throw at them!

March 5, 2013

Put these Infinity Reference 2-way 6-1/2 inch 6032cf in the Front doors of my 2009 Hyundai hoping they would produce a decent highs and mids along with some Mid-65's speakers in the Rear to produce the Base with Mid highs. AMAZING together, I find one complements the other VERY NICE.
Very good quality for the price!

A great choice for a budget factory upgrade

February 17, 2013

I purchased these along with some 9632cf 6x9's as factory replacements in my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is equipped with the factory Infinity Gold audio system. Installation was very simple with the use of plug adapters from Metra products. The included speaker adapters need to be used and I did have to pre-drill one hole on either side through the door frame for the final fastener. They compliment the 9632's very well ,and, for being powered by factory original components, sound better than the OEM speakers.

Good sound from my stock audio unit.

March 17, 2014

I bought these for a 2014 Subaru Outback to replace the stock door speakers. There's plenty of bass from the front door speakers, zero from the rear, but that's because the rears are crossed over at the head unit. They are capable of delivering good bass. Also they are clear and the sound is much improved over my stock speakers. They aren't the best speakers in the world, but they're not priced that way either. For what they are I am very satisfied.

February 3, 2015

Running these the reference 3000s and 4000s running off a Kenwood 998 deck and a Kenwood amp. These things bang. Hard! The difference in your sound quality from just swapping out your stock speakers with these is very noticeable. Get a 4 channel amp putting out 140 at 2 ohms and you won't need any more. The highs are hi and the lows are low. Make sure you run quality rcas as well. No point in skimping on cable when your already splurging on the good stuff.

The speaker sound great and are a huge improvement over the stock speakers in my Ford F-250 pickup. I am using an older Eclipse CD2000 to power them. I would recommend these speakers and I am sure with an amplifier these speakers would sound even better.

Awesome Sound

May 16, 2013

I put a pair of Infinity 6032cf speakers in my 2008 Chevy Colorado. The sound is unbelievable. Crisp highs which can get even higher with the flip of a switch. The bass can't handle some of the lows from todays music. I guess it's lucky that I listen to classic rock. So they suit my needs perfectly.

Excelentes Parlantes!

January 16, 2013

I have to say I was impressed with the clarity and bass that give these speakers, the Infinity purchase because it is a brand that you should not be afraid to play it safe on every purchase.

Need to replace the original speakers of the door in my Kia Rio 2005 and was going to install a new radio-X700BT Pioneer FH then needed power in my door and in the back using a KICKER DS693 honestly with this not necessary Sub Woofer or additional amplifiers, since the sound you have is too strong with these INFINITY, of course if you want to get ahead put more power amplifier with a plant that these speakers will sound louder happy.

Awesome deal!

November 18, 2012

I bought these for the front doors of my '96 Ford F250. Running off my 600 watt Sony amp, these suckers get LOUD. Easily enough to drown out the noise of the diesel, and they will easily make me unable to hear myself think. There is slight distortion at high volumes, but at that point it's so loud that the highs will give me a headache.

Case in point - If you want some awesome speakers for a great price, buy these!!!

A lot of the guys on TSXclub recommended the Infinity Reference series for my 06 Acura TSX. Keeping factory HU and amp and these speakers should be perfect. If anything I may add a JBL MS8 down the road.

What's the best amp for a pair of these speakers?
Jonathan Q on Jan 18, 2015
Best Answer: To be honest I don't know the soundstage, meaning, truck, standard size , coupe, I guess it would be fair to tell you, let me know what they are going in. I can tell you in the application they are in right now, a Dodge Dakota, 02, V8, standard cab with Infinity tweeters and Kicker B pillar speakers, don't need an amp. Keep in mind clear sound, still clear sound, these speakers rock, if you have a four door, put in four, these speakers rock, upgrade your head unit, Pioneer 7500 is working for me, clear sound, as for an amp, well I don't get it, I like true sound of the music.. Rock on

will my amp see 2 ohms or 4 ohms with these speakers?
taylor y on Sep 7, 2014
Best Answer: taylor, to be honest, I don't run an amp. The speakers run nominally at 2, work well at 4. I have a 02 regular cab Dakota with a 383 crate motor, and I still don't need an amp. I run them with a Pioneer DEH-X7500S head unit with Infinity tweeters, the reference 6032cf door speakers and kicker DS525 in the B pillars. Note to Sonic, 5 1/4 speaker size in the rear for my model anyway. The Infinity 6032cf pound, they do flexout, killer sound, at least in my truck. At a 140 mph I hear them just fine. Rock on, I hope this helped. Be safe. That's 140 in the 1/4 mile mind you, I just love Motorhead. pc

how many speakers are in the pack. is it the pair for front and ?
enola on Nov 19, 2014
Best Answer: hello friend, they come in pairs. Fit the door panels on my 02 standard cab Dakota. Im very happy with the sound, this is weird, they do break in, so to speak. These speakers rock, they would sound good with any music type, I listen to all types, Im a 80,s head banger, classical, from my point of view they would work with any sound you want. Get a good head unit, don't over or under power them, you will love them. Rock on, be safe. Hope this helps. I think that four of these in any vehicle would sound perfect.
