1 sensor constantly false alarms for no reason. I've tried everything to remedy the problem with no success.

This was easy to install. Because it is wireless there was no need to run wire from the front to the back of my vehicle. Installation took about two hours. With both a visual display and an audio indication it really helps while backing up.

After backing up and hitting a post in the ground and doing about $500 worth of damage I decided to install a set of sensors. I bought a cheap set but took them back right after buying them. I then bought this set and installed them my self. Had minor difficulty installing them due to bumper curvature but once I overcame that I had no problem (used a little body putty and some matching paint) It tells me within a fraction of a foot how close I am to an obstacle. With my problem with depth perception its hard to believe how accurate this unit is.

I installed this into a Nissan Titan 2011 and overall the installation is simple as long as you have some kind of mechanical knowledge. I was impressed when I first opened the box for the sensors, it has a very professional looking setup and everything is packed into its own compartment.
The instructions are almost useless so just be prepared to be innovative. Again, this kit is very easy to install just make sure you have a multimeter. Also have some smaller drill bits to drill some starter holes prior to using the hole saw that came with the kit. The hole saw isn’t great but it will do the job, just make sure you drill starter holes for the hole saw for each hole you drill. Forgot to mention, this is if you are drilling into a steel bumper.
The kit comes with only two electrical splice taps so be prepared to buy some if you are splicing vs soldering. The double-sided tape that holds the view screen is pretty strong but I went out and got me some better quality 3M tape.
The only issue that I encountered was that the make and model of my truck apparently doesn’t have fuses under the dash. I was hoping to just tap into the fuse box under the dash but there was none? So, that’s where the multimeter came in play and extra electrical splice taps.
There are three sizes of sensor wedges that came with the kit. I guess you can exchanged them based on the height of your vehicle. I used the ones that were attached to the sensors. I have had no issues, they detect obstacles just fine and btw I have a 4x4 truck so it sits higher.
As for the performance of the system, it performs well but beware that there is a small delay when it does detect any obstacle. If you hit reverse and stomp on the gas with an obstacle present the system may not notify you in time to stop. I’ve notice this only few times when backing.. so understand that there is a delay in the system, it’s not much of a delay but it’s there.
The view screen does what it’s suppose and it has a switch in the back to control the volume. I left mine on high. It lights up nicely and turns red when you are about to hit something. The screen only turns on when you are in reverse.
I’m pretty sure I forgot a few things but this is the just of my experience with this kit. I honestly think it’s worth installing especially if you want to avoid running wires through your cab. Good luck!

I've installed it on my 2000 Ford F-150. It works just fine, just as described per the manufacturer. Beside the cheap hole saw included in the package, no problems at all; the wireless feature makes it compatible with any vehicle make and model. I would recommend it to anyone.
